Walk into the heart of a cave and watch the kayakers on the other side.
The Cave Store is a souvenir shop offering daily self-guided sea cave tours. Walk down into the man-made tunnel from the store and descend the 145 steps to the cave. During 1920s prohibition, the cave may have been used to smuggle alcohol into La Jolla. This attraction has gotten really busy on the weekends with a line winding out into the street, you may want to visit on a weekday and avoid the crowds. On weekdays, I've been able to walk right in, buy a ticket and head into the cave.
Tours run 9am - 4:30pm
Adults: $10 | Youth (3-17): $6
